The NOW-8000 is a labeled MCM system recognized by ICC-ES (ESR #4474 and ESL #1316). It is tested with traceable materials to the most up-to-date air, water, structural, deflection, and multi-story flame spread standards—including NFPA 285—in strict compliance with 2018 IBC 1703.5. Its combination of form and function make it the perfect choice for nearly any application. When matched with a properly-integrated air barrier, NOW-8000 is suitable for almost any wall.

Capitalizing on the innate performance of MCM (metal composite material), the NOW-8000 system delivers a sleek, flat look that manages thermal expansion and contraction, and virtually eliminates oil-canning. Proven, durable architectural coatings—including PVDF and FEVE—ensure your rainscreen cladding will last the life of the building.

Cotton Bowl

NOW Specialties LLC was an instrumental subcontractor/design build partner to the success of the design-build project. They provided constant leadership and teamwork approach to the project. NOW Specialties LLC is proud to present the Cotton Bowl, last renovated in 2012. The Cotton Bowl was originally named Fair Park Stadium, with a seating capacity of 46,000, although periodic retrofits have doubled that capacity to 92,100. 

Heery International designed the 2012 renovation, which featured a dramatic stainless steel mesh configuration installed with silver metallic accent bands. Cambridge Architectural manufactured two of their architectural products, Midbalance and Pelican, and were tireless in their support of our installation. NOW Specialties LLC is grateful for the opportunity to work with Balfour Beatty, Heery, and Cambridge, throughout the renewal of this true Dallas icon.
