Metal Composite Material
The strong, rigid construction of Metal Composite Material consists of a compound core between two sheets of painted aluminum, brushed aluminum, zinc, stainless steel, copper or titanium. This creates a flat surface that virtually eliminates dimpling, buckling and oil canning.Hurricane Resistant MCM (Reynobond® with Kevlar®)
- Lightweight and flexible, Kevlar is FIVE times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis.
- Designed to meet Florida and Miami-Dade County Building Codes: able to withstand an impact of 9 pounds of 2x4 timber traveling at 50 feet per second.
There are two different cores used with MCM:
- Polyethylene (PE) Core (Standard)
- Fire Retardant (FR) Core
Trespa® Meteon
Trespa® manufactures four different cladding products, one for exterior (Meteon), and three for interior applications. Each product is uniquely formulated to provide outstanding durability, hygiene and beauty. They have a non-porous solid surface, specially formulated to be highly resistant to impact, scratches, moisture, mold, bacteria, sun, heat and acid rain.
Trespa® Meteon is based on unique patented techniques that guarantees excellent weather resistance and color fastness. Meteon is a flat product similar to MCM applications, but with sheet widths as wide as 7 feet.
