MCM SYSTEM DETAILS

Metal Composite Panel manufacturers sell raw sheets, not systems.

NOW-4200 System (Rain Screen)

This is our premium rainscreen system. A strip of composite conceals the sheathing and vapor barrier. This way the joint reveals the same material as the face sheet, or any other color you choose. Fasteners are concealed. The system has been tested to 15 PSF, per ASTM E 331-00. Please remember that all of our systems require 16-gauge studs.

NOW-4100 System (Rain Screen)

This is our more economical rainscreen system. Joints are open to the sheathing and vapor barrier. Fasteners are largely concealed. The system has been tested to 15 PSF, per ASTM E 331-00. Please remember that all of our systems require 16-gauge studs

NOW-3100 System (Dry System)

This is our high performance attachment method. Panel joints are kept weather tight by our aluminum attachment extrusions and rubber gaskets, which are fastened to a 1" return leg. The benefit is obvious: since the panels are not caulked, the silicates do not run down the faces of the panel and require cleaning. We can paint the reveal extrusions any color, without exorbitant setup charges. Please remember that all of our systems require 16-gauge studs.

NOW-1100 System (Wet System)

This is our more economical attachment method. Panel joints are kept weather tight by exposed Silicone Sealant, which is run between our 1" return legs. Please remember that all of our systems require 16-gauge studs.

TRESPA® METEON DETAILS

Concealed (TS210) Horizontal Panel Joint

The TS210 Concealed Fastener System requires both "J" channels and horizontal railings. Corner channels must also be used at vertical corners. The space between the panels and supporting structure needs to be a minimum of 2 1/4". The system compartmentalizes per elevation.

Concealed (TS210) Vertical Panel Joint

Exposed (TS110) Horizontal Panel Joint

The TS110 Exposed Fastener System is more economical. Vertical "J" extrusions mount finished material to the building envelope.  The minimum space required between the supporting structure and the panel is 1". Vent screens terminate the installation at base and header conditions, while allowing the system to breath. The TS110 system is compartmentalized per panel.
